Amazing staff, great food, and terrific atmosphere!

Went for 2020 restaurant week and had a delightful meal. I order the steak bites with creamy horseradish sauce and was surprised by how tender they were. The main course was a black and blue 8oz steak with some asparagus and roasted salty potatoes. I chose to pair this up again with the horseradish and it was quite good! Finished off dinner with salted caramel cheesecake and it was perfect. I had never been there before and was quite impressed. I thought the value was good for 33 dollars. It was busy tonight as well. Service was polite and attentive.

In the early 80's the S.S. Beryl had great food and was busy.My last trip there was a few weeks ago for dinner. We were almost ready to leave when another couple was finally escorted in to the dining room. while thefood has gone downhill, the upside is that not being busy with other guests the service Is GREAT!

I think that the drinks could have been better. Service was okay at best

OHMYGOD! A new favorite place in town! Our server Joe ROCKS! We were on a tight timeline and they really came through for us when they first opened for dinner. We went for restaurant week and had a great time. Drinks were delicious. Scallops and steak were very good. My steak was cooked a little more than I requested but the flavor was still excellent. Calamari appetizer was nice. Prime rib was done perfectly. Side veggies and potatoes were also good. Cannot wait to go back to try seafood and other items.

Came here for a Birthday, was not disappointed! We were sat quickly, though we did have reservations, but the place was not overly busy. I got the Land and Sea (steak and crab) and it was amazing!

Our first experience here was INCREDIBLE!! Steven was amazing and super personable. Very funny guy!! Will be back not only because of the service but because of the amazing food. We will definitely be back!

It was our first time visiting this restaurant. The food and service was great. The prices were high and portions not so much.

The service was ok, my scallops were over cooked, the prime rib was under done, and the steak mizithra pasta had a 2 inch pool of butter in it.

Had family reservations for 8 at the last minute and it was awesome. I’m GF and dairy intolerant. Waitress knew her stuff and made it easy. Food came and was hot delicious and hardly a wait for being so busy. Beef and chops were done perfectly and the veggies, salads were cooked to our liking. Thank you Barrel for making our family night so special.

Great food and ambiance. Loved the music they play... Nostalgic. Had the prime rib and it was delicious. The calamari was amazing as well. I would definitely be going there again on my next visit to Spokane

We took my Grandma here for her birthday and it was perfect. This place has an "older" atmosphere with a clean and classy nautical theme. The signature cocktails were both delicious and reasonably priced. You'll pay a bit more for a steak here than a chain restaurant, but it will be perfectly cooked and paired with a gourmet side. The seafood dishes were very fresh tasting and portion sizes are generous. I really like this place and will be back!

The patio is beautiful, the service is great. The crab cakes were cooked in the deep fryer, BAD, tasted nothing like crab and everything deep fryer!

Wanting a reasonably priced yet high quality dinner out, we found The Barrel through TripAdvisor. And we were not disappointed. Not in the mood for an appetizer, we went right to the main dish, browned butter and mizithra cheese noodles with sirloin steak and a caesar salad. OUTSTANDING. The steaks were ordered medium rare and medium and they were perfect. Tender and juicy. And the noodles had extra cheese upon request. The house wine was satisfying without being overly expensive. The creme brulee was smooth and rich with a very crispy top burnt sugar. Yummy!

The food is exceptional and the staff is amazing. Seafood, Steaks, Pork Chop, salads and sides are amazing. My husband I love love love this restaurant.

Watching zags. $4 apps a little undersized. Not bad otherwise. Ordered potato jo Jo's. About 1/2 a potato for $4🤔

Have been there twice in last month. Food excellent, ample, service very good. Love the seafood especially.
